We are a flat anarcho-syndicalist organization where every member has the same power to contribute, vote on decisions, and review content before it goes out. We are working towards having monthly public meetings whose agenda and minutes will be posted on Substack.
Mission
Our mission is to highlight local events and news by bringing together thought leaders and content creators to build a shared brand, enabling those with larger platforms to uplift worthy rising voices.

A list of what's happening (today, tomorrow, etc) in your neighborhood. As well as who is invovlved in events and venues. This list will also include information about boycotts and protests against these events and venues with detailed descriptions of the demands and progress.
Lookbook 👀

The goal of the lookbook is to interview organizations and individuals who are doing the work of building community and creating culture. We will ask them about their process, their tools, and their successes and failures. The goal is to create a resource for people who want to do similar work in their own communities.

Tracking the rising kleptocracy and spectacular instances of oligarchs stealing from the people.
Social Murder Institute 💰🔪

This new institute researches and publishes data and analysis attributing harms in society to the organizations and policies directly responsible for them.

One of the core aspects of Castro Media is regular coverage of current events by a team of contributors. Our social media presence is largely intended to provide a platform for contributors to share their insights and analyses on current events, fostering a community of informed individuals who can engage in meaningful discussions about current events from the perspective of people who are actually in our community.
Beneficial Merch ✊🎁

We are working on setting up an online store where contributors can post their own designs and have the proceeds from sales of that design go to a cause of their choice. This can be stickers, shirts, mugs, or any other merch that can be printed on demand. The goal is to create a platform where contributors can share their designs and support causes they care about.
